Hulmeville SC Demons - U13 Elite Boys Soccer Team

Our soccer journey is a true Cinderella story, a tale of overcoming adversity and rising from the bottom to the top. It all started in 2020 when our team fell apart and we didn't have enough 9-year-old boys to form a U10 team. Facing the threat of disbandment and determined to keep our age bracket soccer team alive, we reached out to every soccer player we knew and encouraged them to try out for the team.

As new players joined and dedicated dads volunteered to coach players of all skill levels, our team faced tough times with initial records of one win and 13 losses. Despite the challenges, the kids never gave up, and the coaches persevered. Over the years, through dedicated training and individual development, the boys improved and the team gained positive momentum. With further tryouts and scouting, the coaches ( Jeff/Rob) assembled a talented team, making difficult decisions along the way.

After four years of hard work and determination, we elevated our game to the most elite level. From constant losses to 26 consecutive wins, we proudly emerged as an elite youth soccer team. Last year The Hulmeville SC Demons were champions of the Pennsylvania State Challenge Cup, went undefeated in two leagues, and won 7 tournaments. This year, we went up a level to compete in the President's Cup, and recently represented Pennsylvania at the Eastern Regional President's Cup, competing against teams from neighboring states.

Our team, led by dedicated unpaid dad-coaches faces well-funded opponents with paid coaches and high-skill trainers regularly. Despite being the underdogs with limited resources, we stand as one, pooling our efforts and resources to ensure every player can participate. These boys exhibit unparalleled grit and teamwork, propelling us to victories that none of us could even imagine, but certainly believed!

Thanks to our collective perseverance and hard work over the past four years, we proudly won the 2024 Eastern Pennsylvania President's Cup and clinched the Eastern Regional President's Cup last week! Our victory secured our spot in the National President's Cup Championship in Wichita, Kansas July 11-16. We are thrilled and honored by this opportunity, but we need support to make it to nationals.

We will be representing Pennsylvania but also our towns of Bensalem, Hulmeville, and Levittown. We are the youngest Hulmeville Club team to win states. We are the first team in Hulmeville Club history and Inter-County to win regionals. The youngest team in club history to reach nationals and the sole team to be crowned Eastern regional champions. This achievement not only boosts our team but also puts our community and this soccer club on the map.
