Support Hussein Abadi After Tragic Quad Accident

Donation protected
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

On Sunday, September 5th, 13 year old Hussein Abadi (Hassouna) was in a serious quad accident on a family camping trip outside of Fort McMurray. Hussein was airlifted to the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton where he was rushed into surgery after suffering multiple brain injuries, including a concussion, fractured skull, brain contusions, brain bleeding, brain inflammation and broken facial bones. He is still in a medically induced coma to help reduce the swelling.

Our beloved Hassouna is a special young man. He’s the eldest son of the family and is truly the perfect son and big brother to his 3 siblings. His smile and enthusiasm is infectious and his heart is pure. He loves spending time with his family and friends and has a passion for wildlife. He is strong and resilient and with God’s grace, he will return home to his loved ones, safe and sound.

His father, Moe Abadi, is the owner of a local Barber shop here in Fort McMurray, YMM Barber Shop. He and his wife Zeinab Abadi have been pillars to the Fort McMurray Community. They are the last people to ask for help, but would be the first people to offer it. This family is very private and extremely humble. Their door has always been open to anyone in need and in this moment of hardship, we would like to extend a hand to this beautiful family so they can concentrate on their son’s health and not the financial burden.

The family has respectfully stated that if there are remaining funds not used, they would want it to be donated to charity and to other families in need in the name of Hussein Abadi. Another example of how truly amazing and giving this family is.

I will do my best to keep this site updated with his progress. Anything you are able to do to support them financially would be a blessing, but the thing they covet the most is your prayers! Do not underestimate the power of prayer.

May God be Gracious and Merciful to Hussein and the Abadi family and may He give them the strength and patience to get through this difficult time.

From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you for your support & much needed prayers!
