Help Hyde Park Produce, a Community Treasure

Hyde Park Produce, owned and operated by Larry Damico, has been a fixture in the Hyde Park community for almost 30 years. Many other grocers have come and gone during that time, but we’ve always been able to count on Larry and his staff to provide for the neighborhood, even during the pandemic. Larry not only met our needs through the products sold in his store, but he has always been a very generous benefactor of a wide variety of community and other non-profit events in Hyde Park. Remember the thank-you notes, many of them written or drawn by children, posted in the store?

Since the unfortunate fire at HPP, and with the insurance settlement still not paid to him, Larry has been working non-stop to keep things going. This GoFundMe has been established NOT by Larry, but by those of us in the neighborhood who have appreciated Hyde Park Produce over the past decades, and really want to see it survive. Larry very much appreciates this effort, especially as it will hopefully enable him to restore some lost wages to his long-time and very loyal staff.
