Support Hypatia's Emergency Vet Care

Donation protected
The last 36 hrs have been a nightmare.

Yesterday morning, Hypatia decided to eat a medication meant for my dog right off my lap, where I had set it in order to grab a piece of chicken to hide it in for him. Well, upon immediate Google, it’s toxic to cats. Great. $95 later, ASPCA Animal Poison Control tells us we better hightail it to the emergency vet.

I immediately call the vet office I work for, and one of the vets on staff tells me, “Get here as fast as safely possible.” Queue a fatality crash between me and work. An hour later, we’re finally there.

Attempt at inducing vomiting failed. She spent the day getting her medications and fluids all day. Then we had to move her to the emergency vet for overnight care.

Early this morning, I picked her up and took her back to work for continued care, as it is the most cost-effective way to get her care. On my way to work, someone kicked up a rock and hit my windshield in juuuuuust the right spot to cause a line crack. Wonderful.

Back to the ER tonight for HOPEFULLY one last night of care.

By the time I got home, the crack in my windshield had grown another 7-8 inches, and I feel like it’s just a testament to my week.

Soooo if you made it this far and wanna help a girl out with some vet bills, lemme know drowning.

all donations received will be used to pay off the many bills we’ve incurred over the last few days! Payed to Blue Pearl and SHVH
