Support Ian and Anne - Cancer Battlers

Hi there,

My name is Amy and working alongside long-time friends Muz and Lisa we are raising funds for our dear friends Anne and Iain.

Anne and Iain have been residents of the Paynesville region for quite some time, working hard to build their lives on the Island.

Ian has been a long time supporter of the 'longest morning tea' events. Giving his time to support the events. Now it is his turn to ask for help.

In the last few Months Iain has found out that he has a large Cancerous Tumour in his Chest. Before this, despite the fact that he had lost alot of weight and had trouble swallowing, trying to get into a hospital or get seen by medical professionals proved extremely difficult. This ended with the life or death decision to go private. This has been at a huge cost to the both of them as well as the loss of income and financial strain.

He has had to undergo surgery to remove blood clots in his legs, delaying treatment and the emotional and physical stress is taking its toll. We are hoping to raise some much needed funds to try and relieve the monetary stress to try and help relieve some of the pressure.

Alone, these things may all seem impossible.... but it is only 550 people chipping in $100, or 1000 people giving $55.... every little bit will help so much.
