Support Ian's Recovery and Family Needs
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Riley. As some of you know, Ian Lewis had punctured his wrist and received a deep laceration to his ulnar artery on June 8th, while working around the house. Livingston County EMS controlled the bleeding while Ian was transported as a Level 1 trauma, to the University of Michigan for treatment. While at U of M, Medical staff had to continue to hold pressure to try to control the bleeding for about two hours. Once the bleeding was controlled, blood flow and feeling, was impaired in Ian's right hand. Surgery was considered Emergent to fix the Ulnar Artery to restore blood flow to Ian's fingers.
Ian is looking at a six week recovery time minimum after a successful surgery and cannot use his right arm at all during that time frame. While taking the time to heal, Ian will be out of work and unable to provide for his family like he normally does.
Please consider donating money to help Ian cover his bills and continue to put food on the table for his two daughters, Averie and Savannah. If anything, a "share" goes a long way!
