Support ICU Nurse after Car Accident

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Phannee Seesangrit or Kay for short. I am an American citizen, originally from Thailand. I am a 62-year-old disabled person and reside in Western Massachusetts with my daughter, Ms. Krobkul Seesangrit (Golf). I would like to raise funds for her.

In 2004, I had a massive stroke which left me with permanent left-sided weakness. I had trouble walking, dressing, using the bathroom, and other daily activities that other people might take for granted. In 2011, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lumpectomy. In 2015, I also had a carotid endarterectomy to help improve the blood flow. In December 2022, I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had a total hysterectomy done in January 2023. In March 2023, I fell and hit my head. I had brain surgery two times--burr holes and craniectomy.

I am telling you this because no matter what happens in my life, I will never give up. I get strong support from Golf. She is always there to listen, help, and care for me aside from working full-time overnight as an ICU nurse at a local hospital. I am very blessed to have her by my side.

Everything seemed to be okay until that day in August 2023 (Mother's Day in Thailand). On August 12, we decided to go out for grocery shopping. We were planning to cook some Thai food to celebrate Mother's Day. On our way back home around 1 PM, we were struck by a pickup truck that came directly into our lane. We were all injured. I was transported to a local hospital, Berkshire Medical Center (BMC). My daughter was airlifted to Albany Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. I was injured but not as bad as her.

I feel so helpless in this situation. There is nothing I can do to help her, except to keep praying and focusing on the positives. I am recovering, but my daughter is still in the hospital. She suffers serious brain damage. It is difficult to tell how she will recover from this.

This is the time in which Golf and I need support from family, friends, and the community the most. This is the time in which I want people in the community to come together and show support, which is the only way we will get through this.

That's why I am asking for support from the GoFundMe page to help my daughter with long-term rehabilitation, medications, and personal care expenses once she returns home.

She was a healthcare hero who has saved so many lives. It is time that we will save her. Thank you!
