Support Iftar Meals for Palestinian refugees in Lebanon
Donation protected
It has been an incredibly difficult year for Palestinian refugees living in South Lebanon, who have faced displacement, financial precarity and food insecurity, and horrific violence as a result of the Israeli airstrikes. Now Ramadan is here-- a time of coming together, sharing, and spreading kindness.
With your support, we can raise enough money for iftar meals and activities for Palestinian families and kids living in Bourj al Chamali refugee camp in Tyre, Lebanon.
We have three goals:
1. Host iftar meals for struggling families and children: A $15 donation feeds an adult, and $10 feeds a child.
2. Organize fun activities for kids in the camp (about $800 is needed).
3. Bring joy for Eid with gifts and celebrations —whatever we can make happen!
No amount is too small —anything helps! Even if you can't donate, sharing this link widely is hugely helpful.
[To give full financial transparency, I (Jessie Rubin) will be sending the funds directly to my dear friend Mustapha Dakhloul who lives in the camp. Mustapha is working closely with a group of community organizers to make it all happen!]
