Support Ilonggo Puspins' Cat Rescue Efforts

As a proud cat mama, my goal every year is to raise funds for a shelter in my hometown, Iloilo, Philippines, to support abandoned and stray cats—cats who have been left behind, have nowhere to go, and have endured neglect or even cruelty. These cats deserve a second chance at life, and I want to help make that happen.

This year, I’ve chosen to support Ilonggo Puspins , a shelter that has become like family to me. Funny enough, the owner is actually a good friend of one of my uncles, so I know their heart is in the right place! Even while working abroad, the owner dedicates time and resources to rescuing and caring for these beautiful purr babies.

All proceeds will go directly to the shelter, providing food, vet visits, medications, and other essentials the rescues depend on. A portion of the funds will also help cover past due vet balances—because as we know, outstanding bills can put their lifesaving work on hold. Veterinarians rely on their businesses to continue operating, and clearing these balances ensures that Ilonggo Puspins can keep giving abandoned cats the medical care they need.

One of their many ongoing projects is finalizing the flooring, as the rescues are currently sleeping and playing on bare cement, which isn’t safe for their well-being. This is just one example of the constant improvements needed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for these cats, and with your support, we can help lighten the burden on the shelter and give these rescues the care they deserve
