Mission: Possible - Supporting a Young Woman in Aerospace

From my early high school years, I engaged in engineering and robotics, exhibiting creativity and technical skills from regional competitions to state levels. I traveled to Fort Worth for competitions, explored diverse STEM fields, and discovered the fascinating world of aerospace engineering. These experiences sparked a passion that continues to drive me today. As responsibilities mounted during my junior and senior years – Advanced Placement courses, Dual Credit classes, college applications, scholarship searches, and part-time work to save for college – I reluctantly had to pause my STEM explorations. Despite my deep interest, time and resources became increasingly scarce. However, this summer presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I hate to let slip away. I've been selected to attend the prestigious Rice University Aerospace Academy by Envision, running from June through July. Your support will allow me to reconnect with my aerospace aspirations and build critical skills for my future career.
