- On October 9th, 2024, my mother,Janice McNally-Packer, lost her battle with Alzheimer's. I'm at a loss. She's done many things in her life, but I know being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her greatest achievement and love!
- She had cancer from the time she was 11-18 and was given 6 months to live. At the end of her time, the nurses told me she only had a couple of hours, maybe. She held on for 2 more days, just to prove them wrong!*Teary smile*
- She was raised in the restaurant business. At one time, she owned a small antique shop called 'The Dusty Attic'. She then worked in a flower shop/greenhouse and went on to own her own flower shops, then moved on to the event decor business.
- She is survived by so many people who love her, I couldn't even name them all.
- She passed away at 80.
In the picture you'll see a tiny leopard on her hand. From her youngest granddaughter, Alicia for her 80th birthday.
