In memory of Tiina Stewart (Veltmann)

In the spirit of Tiina’s kindness and generosity, we’re raising money to support Tiina's husband Greg and their soon to be one-year-old daughter Annika.
At the beginning of December 2020 we got some concerning news that Tiina was diagnosed with a precursor to Leukaemia. A month later, after a short battle, she passed away suddenly on January 25th, 2021.
Tiina extended her kindness to every person she met, whether you knew her for 20 years or 20 minutes. Her good nature and positive attitude made people feel at ease, which is evidenced by her large circle of friends.
Even despite the rollercoaster of emotions she was going through, she was thinking about others, up until the end. Thankfully, her friends and family were able to keep in contact with her online while she was at Princess Margaret Hospital. In her last week, in true Tiina fashion, she wrote this to her sister:
"We’re all in this together! On our own journeys, but together at the same time. The most important thing is the hard days are hard but the support is overwhelming."
She was passionate about everything she did. She was an incredible mother and wife. She was a new mom but a longtime caregiver to her friends and family. She was an incredible person. She is and will be missed by so many people.
Tiina’s family was her priority. Her husband Greg and daughter Annika meant everything to her. She wanted to know that they were being looked after. Contributions raised will go to support them, particularly Annika’s education plan.
Anything you can contribute to her family would be deeply felt and appreciated.
Thank you.
