At Founders First CDC, a 501c3, not-for-profit, dedicated to closing the economic equity gaps that prevent small, employer-based businesses from reaching their full potential. Since 2015, we’ve helped thousands of small businesses through free training programs, grants, and access to resources that help them grow and create jobs in their communities.
Why We Need Your Help
Recently, we were forced to settle a lawsuit filed by the American Alliance for Equal Rights (AAER) against our Job Creators Grant Program. This has not only resulted in significant legal expenses but also led to the discontinuation of all Job Creators Grant programs. We are now unable to offer this critical funding to small business owners who need it the most.
Despite this setback, we remain committed to our mission of empowering diverse, service-based businesses across the country. But to continue providing free programs and grant initiatives, we need your support.

- Over $1M+ million in grants awarded to businesses nationwide
- Helped create 1,454 jobs, 56% of which are premium-wage jobs with full health benefits
- Companies who completed our programs have provided $72 million in wages for the new jobs created
