Support Indigo - Karate Junior World Champion

Hi, My name is Jenny, and I am starting this Go Fund Me to help my friend send her son to Konya, Türkiye to participate in the Karate Junior World Champions.

This Go Fund Me is for a local Indigenous (Nłeʔkepmxc) athlete named Indigo Berry. Indigo is a 15-year-old youth who has been training at the Rodney Hobson Karate Academy (RHKA) for the past 10 years. On July 1, 2022 Indigo competed at Nationals in St. Johns, Newfoundland winning gold in Kumite.

Indigo is ranked number 1 for his age and weight group in Canada, allowing him to fight for Team Canada. Indigo won the right to represent Canada in the 12th Karate Junior World Championship in Konya, Türkiye on October 26th 2022.

This Go Fund Me is to make it possible for Indigo to travel to Konya, Türkiye to participate in the Karate Junior World Championships and compete at the highest level of competition (World championships)
