INGRID WANDEL: On Monday, November 4, 2024. Loving mother of Sandra Dorsek, Irene Dorsek (Kadoch), and John Hans-Martin (Tiffany) Wandel. Cherished sister of the late Roland, Siegfried, Wilhelm, Adolf, Irene and surviving sister Eleanore Schmidt. Devoted grandmother of Shawn Dorsek, Autumn Dorsek, Sheila Dorsek, Kayla Dorsek, Dominic Wandel, Logan Wandel, Jennifer Ritter, and Ariana Wandel. Also great-grandchildren Peyton Olivia Dorsek, Cyra Ritter, Abby-May Ritter and Sandro Ritter. Born in Slovakia, Ingrid spent time in Böblingen, Germany before moving to Pittsburgh officially in 1963. A larger than life figure to her family and friends, Ingrid always did what she could to be the glue for her loved ones. A valued member of Faithbridge Community Church for over two decades. Regardless of her stern nature, she could light up the room with a flash of a smile and a well-timed joke. Friends and family may meet at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 6 PM to 8 PM. A celebration of life will be held at Faithbridge Community Church (McKees Rocks) on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 6 PM. Contributions may be made to Faithbridge Community Church, 618 Russellwood Avenue, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. We are trying to raise money for her funeral cost. Hand expenses.
