Support Inner Rhythms: Empower Kids with Mindfulness
Donation protected
Inner Rhythms is a mindfulness program developed by Kelley Boymer in the Mountain Views Supervisory District.
INNER RHYTHMS MISSION:
To equip schools with resources to foster a community of self-aware, compassionate, resilient, and confident children.
MIND: A deeper connection to self (self-compassion, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-esteem, resilience).
BODY & BREATH: awareness, curiosity, and connection.
Develop a personal toolbox for dealing with challenging emotions, feelings, experiences, and states of being.
OUTER WORK: building compassion, understanding, gratitude, and acceptance.
Kelley is currently leading mindfulness sessions at Woodstock Elementary School every Thursday for both students and teachers. After just 4 months, data is showing the effectiveness and success of the program, with students utilizing mindfulness tools from Inner Rhythms both in and out of the classroom. In a time when mental health resources for the youth are limited, Inner Rhythms exemplifies social & emotional learning equity by providing resources and experiences for every kid in our community.
