Support is needed for a Faithful Pastor

Family, friends, loved ones and to all who took the time to hear our story for our beloved Pastor and family member—Pastor Jeffrey A. Marion. A turn of events has taken place with Pastor Marion’s health. Within a matter of 14-21 days in the month of April, Pastor Marion obtained a scratch on his right foot that did not heal and became infected which led him to the ER. Doctors treated the infection; however, it was not successful, and they had to amputate 3 of his toes. A day or so after recovery Pastor Marion foot was not healed after surgery and more complications resulted from the procedure. Doctors discovered he had gangrene that had spreaded up his right foot and leg. Now they must perform another amputation surgery of his right leg. All the while, his devoted wife, First Lady Vicki Marion by his side every day. Due to her focus on caring for her husband, she has not been able to work and will not be able to return in the foreseeable future due to the level of care Pastor Marion will need going forward.

All who know Pastor Marion, know he has always served God faithfully in the Athens-Clarke County community and surrounding counties preaching God’s Word, singing God’s Word, cooking a delicious love-filled meal, providing transportation to those who were in need, officiating a wedding, eulogizing a funeral, providing marital and Christian counseling and just being available as a willing vessel to be used for the glory of God.

Today, Pastor Marion, his devoted wife and family need your financial support to help them through this transition. Bills do not stop when you are sick, not working or having any life challenges. Whatever you can denote we are forever grateful unto the Lord for your generosity and His provisions. We pray our story will lead you to support a community jewel who faithfully gave of himself for the work of the kingdom.
