Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
A few months ago, we were excited to share that our son Isaac was selected as an alternate member for Team Canada to participate in the World Lifesaving Championship in Australia. At the time, this meant he would only get the chance to compete if another team member was unable to attend. As time went on, we focused on other opportunities for Isaac's swimming career, not expecting this opportunity to come to be.
However, this past week, during a training camp for the National athletes, Isaac received the incredible news that he has been called up to compete in Australia. He is now one of only six boys on the team from across the country who will travel to Australia to represent Canada - in three weeks!!
We are immensely proud of Isaac and thrilled about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. However, this program is not sponsored or funded, and the cost for Isaac to participate is $5,000.
With such short notice, we are reaching out to our community for support in making Isaac's dream a reality.
We would be deeply grateful for any contribution, big or small, to help Isaac achieve his dream of competing on the world stage. Your support will not only aid in covering travel and accommodation costs but will also be an investment in Isaac's future as a dedicated and passionate athlete.
Thank you for considering helping us during this exciting time. Your generosity means the world to us and will help make this extraordinary opportunity possible for Isaac.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Thibodeau Family
