Support Israa Arbai's Family in Gaza

I'm Lily Naifeh-Bajorek, a college student from Ohio. I'm fundraising for my friend Anan Najjar's sister, Israa Arbai, a Palestinian widow living in Gaza. She has four children who she is now supporting on her own.

She needs money to meet her and her children's basic necessities, including food, shelter, clothing, and evacuation to Egypt as soon as possible. The money from this GoFundMe will be collected here in the United States and sent directly to Israa Arbai to provide for her family.

Here is her statement in her own words. Please donate what you can to a family with a single mother living in a dire situation! Thank you for your kindness and empathy.

"I am Israa Arbai, a Palestinian widow from Gaza. I lost my husband, who was our only support, and now I live in this war with my four children in a tent that lacks the most basic necessities of life. Since my husband's death, I have become the sole caregiver for my children, and I try with all my might to provide them with food, warmth, and education, but the harsh conditions make this almost impossible.

We live in difficult economic conditions without any fixed income or sufficient support to cover our daily needs. My children need shelter, food, and clothing, in addition to the opportunity to return to school so that they can obtain their natural right to education and a decent life.

We need to collect donations to travel to Egypt in light of the poverty and hunger in the Gaza Strip due to the war here in the region.

I ask for your support and assistance in this campaign to provide our basic needs and restore hope to our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference and give us a chance to live a decent life.
