Support Ivy Risner’s battle with Leukemia

Ivy’s Story

March 19th 2021 our sweet Ivy turned 3 years old. Over the course of the next 2-3 weeks her coloring started to look pale and her activity level slowed. On April 5th Ivy went to see her doctor who took blood samples. That same day the doctor told us that we needed to drive Ivy directly to Spokane Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital ER (1 hr 35 mins away). We learned that all her blood levels had dropped and her bone marrow wasn’t producing correctly. On April 6th after many test we were told Ivy has Leukemia. Specifically B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  So after many tears and many prayers we start this new life journey of supporting and loving on Ivy as she battles Leukemia.

Ivy has 4 brothers and 1 sister and we hope to keep the family living together for as much of this process as possible. We are told that Ivy needs to live up in Spokane for the first month (till May 8th) and then the proceeding months we will be traveling back and forth each week at first and then monthly, as well as another 4-6 week stay in July/Aug. This journey if all goes well will take the next 2-3 years. We are trusting God and his mighty protection for Ivy.  
All loving gifts will go to supporting Ivy and any costs that are incurred as we do whatever it takes to help her fight a successful battle against Leukemia.  

The Risner family is overwhelmed by the offers of support and we cherish and thank you for all your prayers, love, support and any offering of help.
