Update (12/19/23): Jack is partially paralyzed from the chest down with limited feeling and movement in his right arm and hand. He has undergone multiple surgeries to replace veins and nerves, take out dead muscles, as well as rebuild his right arm. Jack's arm has been reconstructed using over 100 screws and rods, extending from the elbow to the wrist. He will also receive skin grafts to aid in the healing process. This is no guarantee that he will be able to keep his arm, as amputation is still a possibility. Despite these extensive procedures, Jack still has two bullets remaining in his body. One bullet is lodged in his spine, while the other is located in his rib cage area.

We are reaching out to you on behalf of Jack Beggrow, a brave and selfless man who was tragically shot five times. Jack was asked to help someone move which later turned into a situation in which someone was worried about a friend's safety outside of the home. He was critically injured in the events that followed and was life-flighted to Grant Hospital where he underwent multiple surgeries. His road to recovery is going to be long and arduous, filled with physical therapy and medical treatments.

Jack is a loving father, a caring friend, and a respected member of our community. His act of bravery is a testament to his character - a man who would risk his life for a stranger! But now, Jack is unable to work and support his family due to his injuries. The financial strain is adding to the emotional stress his family is already experiencing.

We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help Jack and his family during this challenging time. The funds raised will go towards Jack's medical bills, physical therapy sessions, and to support his family with their daily needs while he is recovering.
