Support Jackie Mock'- After Being Hit By A Drunk Driver

Hello! Im Monica one of Jackie Mock's teammates and friends who bartend together at the NYC nightclub / concert venue Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage in Bushwick Brooklyn. I have started this fundraiser on behalf of the Food and Beverage Department who we all consider our "work family". We are coming together to raise as much money as we can to help Jackie who has recently been hit by a drunk driver just blocks away after getting out of work. She has been left with a dislocated and shattered knee. She is scheduled for surgery on Friday Feb 28th. She has been told she will not be able to fully walk for three months, and I can only imagine the PT that will be needed to get her back to her strong self. Jackie is not only one of the fastest bartenders in NY, but also has an amazing career outside of bartending as an EMT for Northwell Health and New York Presbyterian for years. Helping strangers day after day in need. She also volunteers for a Crisis Hotline Service. She teaches classes part time at BMCC as well as students in high school. In August she is starting a Physician Assistant program. As you can see, Jackie has a passion for serving and helping the community , inspiring and educating others.
