Support Jade & Omar Through Cancer Battle

I am starting this GoFundMe for my amazing co-worker and friend. I met Jade while working at UMASS. I had the pleasure of getting to know her better when I was her preceptor in the ER. Jade and her husband Omar have been on an emotional medical roller coaster since his colon cancer diagnosis. It has been an ongoing course of surgeries, chemo treatments, blood transfusions, and endless visits to the hospital/clinics. Omar is a fighter and would continue to work on good days. Unfortunately, yesterday his health again set him back. EMS took him to the hospital to rule out a stroke. Sadly, a cancerous lesion was found in his brain, causing swelling and partial paralysis to his left side. I know Jade will be at his side awaiting the next recommendations from his team. I am making this GoFundMe to help them financially while treatment plans are made.
