Support Jadyn’s Dance Journey!

Hi, I my name is Bethany Socher. I am a close friend and dance teacher to the incredibly talented Jadyn Baker. Jadyn recently auditioned for a pre-professional dance program, CLI Conservatory*, based in Southampton, Massachusetts. Jadyn had to undergo three rounds of auditions which included a live zoom audition, a dance video submission, and a zoom interview with the admissions director. We are very proud to announce that she made it! To be accepted into this prestigious program is an outstanding accomplishment!

With that though, the program is definitely expensive. They don’t offer/use any scholarships or FASFA. This is an incredible opportunity for Jadyn and she won’t be able to go without your help!

Jadyn has been a blessing to our community. She is the youngest daughter of Dave & Lisa Baker of Frankfort, MI. Jadyn started her dance journey at the age of 3.5 under the direction of Vickie Slater with Get Up & Dance. At age 11, Jadyn began training under Shelli Golembiewski and Tarah Hodges at the Conservatory of Dance located in Manistee, MI. Since 2017, Jadyn has competed with the Conservatory of Dance Company and has won many awards from various competitions. Jadyn has spread her love of dance with many younger students all over Michigan. She currently teaches at the Conservatory as well as does privates lessons in Frankfort. Jadyn also choreographs competition pieces for Dream Team Dance in Cadillac, MI and Center Stage Dance Academy in Oxford, MI. She does all of this while continuing competing with her CODC team. I’ve had the privilege of knowing this amazing girl and her family since 2016 and let me tell you, you are missing out if you haven’t met them yet. My life will forever be changed by knowing the Bakers so please help me by giving back to this bright young woman to help her live out her dreams!

*A little bit about CLI Conservatory: This program was designed to give dancers direct access into the industry by learning from the worlds most in-demand choreographers such as Teddy

Florence, Brian Friedman, Talia Favia, Kathryn McCormick, Al Blackstone, and many more. The program helps guide young dancers by broadening their skill set to create a base for a strong and diverse career. The program is 10 months long from September 2023-June 2024. Students take classes from sun up to sun down while learning the ins and outs of the performance industry. CLI Conservatory provides the training, tools, and opportunities dancers need to pursue their dreams.
