Support Jaelynn Jones' Road to Recovery

I'm Summer, mama to our beautiful girl Jaelynn Jones. As many of you are aware, Jaelynn & 4 of her family members were in an ATV accident on Sunday, August 11th, in Rosebud, TX. All of the kids involved have suffered traumatic injuries. First & foremost, we ask for continued prayers for them all. Jaelynn has suffered 6 to 7 fractures, a broken pelvis, as well as a broken Sacrum. She is unable to walk but at this point, we are just thankful all of the kids involved have survived.

Jaelynn has been in McLanes Children's Hospital this week & will be transported to an inpatient rehab for ongoing therapy next week. I have had to take unpaid FMLA to care for her. Unfortunately, the medical bills have begun along with discussions on getting my home handicapped accessible so I can eventually bring my girl home. Any donations towards medical bills, wheelchair ramp, etc. would be greatly appreciated. She is giving physical therapy her all every day & doing as much as her body can handle. Thank you to everyone who has reached out & shown her support. It truly lifts her spirits each day. Please continue to show her love and support as she moves onto her next phase as she has a tough road ahead of her.

Update August 22nd:

Today Jaelynn will began her first rounds of PT and OT at Hillcrest inpatient. Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers! I also wanted to update that Joey's Garage Doors & Roofing LLC has began work on the ramp. These men are working out in the heat tirelessly to get the project done before she goes home. I cant thank them enough. Jaelynn has also received a donation of new glasses which she is so thankful for as well. Jaelynn & I would like to also thank everyone who has donated as well as kept her in your prayers. - Summer
