Support Jakari Brooks' Family in Their Time of Loss

On the morning of July 17th, 2024, 16-year-old Jakari Brooks (JK) was found lifeless by friends and family members in a wooded area on the northwest side of Atlanta, minutes away from his home. This has not only broken the hearts of so many who loved him but has left a single mother of 5 with the heavy burden of burying her youngest child under unforeseen circumstances. To know JK was to love him. A truly amazing young man, very respectable with a bright and eager future in basketball. He was 6’3 in height but a gentle giant at heart. Jakari was the youngest of 5 siblings, most still in school, so this burden has solely fallen on mom and with times being hard, any donation would mean the world to us as we navigate this heartbreaking loss.
