Support Jake 'Mudge' Eckelman's Paddling Journey

Hi, I'm Jake Eckelman, many of you may know me as Mudge. This year my Team LACDBC qualified for the 2024 IVF Sprints in Hilo, Hawaii. We will have the privilege to represent Team USA for the U19 Boys division. We are all so excited for this opportunity to represent our country because we have worked so hard through training, school, helping with our families, and all that life has to bring in our day to day lives.

Paddling Outrigger has brought a whole new prospective into my life. When I'm out in the water paddling I feel an immense appreciation towards my parents introducing me to the sport. Paddling is teaching me patience, determination, how to use my time wisely, and last not , but not least, opportunities like this one into my my life.

I have so far been able to work and save up for my race registration and airfare. However, I'm in need of some help to cover food and lodging. And asking for help is not an easy task for me. So, I'm asking for your assistance in helping me raise $1700.

Any amount no matter how small will help me and will be much appreciated.
