Support Jake Najor
Hi, my name is Kelly Collins, and Jake has been my best friend since 4th grade. On Saturday, July 17th, I was informed that Jake was in the Intensive Care Unit. With the permission of Jake's parents and girlfriend, I've created this GoFundMe to raise money to help Jake out, so he can get back out and continue his pursuit of creating great music and being the great friend he is to so many of us.
On Friday, July 16th Jake went to the ER, thinking he was having a bout with stomach flu, GERD, or maybe food poisoning. It turned out that he was in a much more serious state. Jake was admitted to the hospital right away to be treated for pancreatitis and to schedule gallbladder removal surgery. By the late morning he had developed sepsis and complications have followed. He is currently receiving dialysis, and we are confident that he is receiving the best possible medical care.
As COVID-19 restrictions have subsided, Jake started to get back to his livelihood, playing drums. He has been picking up gigs and was ready to get back to normal. With this setback he will be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time. We hope that the donations from this fundraiser will help lessen the stress of any unexpected medical necessities and everyday living expenses until he has recovered and is ready to get back to the stage.
If you can donate anything at all it will be immensely appreciated. Thank you, and please continue to send prayers and good vibes to our friend, Jake Najor.
