Support James and Bill's Recovery from Tragedy

James and Bill Montiver lost everything on Sunday 7/25/24 due to a tragic landslide, in Ketchikan, Alaska. They spent the last 10 years remodeling a hundred year home, that was a beautiful show piece. They made it out of the home with virtually nothing, just the clothes on their backs. They were pulled out by first responders and are lucky to be alive. It took first responders over an hour to cut through the collapsed walls to extricate Bill from the wreckage. What was once was an immaculate decorated home is now completely gone. James and Bill have been together 42 years and everything they had collected during their amazing life is now gone. They also lost their miniature long haired dachshund and a mini mal-she. James and Bill have always been an integral part of this community, donating to many worth while causes and never thought they would end up in a situation like this. To make matters worse their insurance company has denied paying the insurance claim. So they find themselves literally with just the clothes on their back. At 65 and 70 years old they find themselves starting from scratch. Anything and everything would be helpful for this cause and graciously appreciated.
