Support James Bolton's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On April 5th, James Bolton said goodbye to his family at 12:15 pm to head to work at the Mill for his swing shift. It was a beautiful sunny day, so of course, he rode the Harley! On the way to work on Hwy 35, a truck did not see James on his bike and proceeded to make a left turn right in front of James. He did not have much time to react before impact.
When paramedics arrived, James was unresponsive, there was a lot of blood, and they decided to intubate on scene. He was then sent via Life Flight to Legacy Emanuel in Portland where ultimately he was placed in the neurotrauma ICU unit.
James has several broken bones, will require some surgeries, and will be in the hospital for a long while. Once able to leave the hospital, he will then have to go to a rehab facility for a while.
James won't be able to return to any form of work for at least a year. Unfortunately, bills don't pause when tragedy strikes. So, I am setting up this fundraiser to give him a financial cushion to go towards all his bills.
