Support James Hood's Memorial and Family

A dear friend and good man has passed. I am asking on behalf of his wife for aid in paying for his cremation, celebration of life ceremony and to relieve the stress of paying bills a little in this time of grieving. I know that it is a big ask and I know that life is hitting everyone hard right now but anything would help.

In Loving Memory of James Hood

James Hood, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2024, at the age of 52.

James was a man defined by grit, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to those he loved. Born with a deep understanding that life never hands you anything without a fight, he lived every day fully and without reservation. In his career in construction, James was never afraid to get his hands dirty, and he approached every task with the same determination and strength that he applied to all areas of his life.

A loving husband, father, and brother, James cherished his family. He was quick to help a friend or neighbor in need, always the first to show up when hard work was required. His commitment to his loved ones was unshakeable, and once you were in his inner circle, you were family—fiercely protected and cared for. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren deeply, and his relationship with them was the cornerstone of his life.

James was a man who always kept his word, even when it hurt, and had no patience for excuses or disrespect. He told you exactly what he was thinking, with no filter, and was unapologetically himself in every situation. His fun-loving nature and enjoyment of the outdoors were infectious, and he brought joy and laughter to those around him.

James also had a special place in his heart for animals, treating them with the same kindness and love he showed to his family and friends. He was a man of hard work, strength, and deep compassion—a protector, a provider, and a true friend.

James lived life hard and loved even harder. His legacy of hard work and fierce loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a family who loved him and a community forever changed by his presence. James will be missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer, daughter Jordan, stepson J.W., stepdaughter, grandchildren; siblings Rebecca, Scott (Christina), and Terry and nephews. James was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy, his mother and stepfather, Angela and Rick, and his grandparents on both sides.

Rest in peace, James, and know that you were loved by so many. Your strength, your love, and your friendship will never be forgotten.
