Help Lay James Walter Palmer Jr. to Rest
James was taken way too soon from all of us.

Dear Family, Friends, and Compassionate Supporters,
It is with a broken heart that we reach out to you in this time of profound grief.
On October 19th, James and three of his friends boarded a Carnival Cruise for a much needed guys trip. On the morning of October 20th the friends stopped at a port in the Bahamas for an excursion to enjoy the first leg of the trip. During the excursion the ATV flipped, and James was ejected from the ATV leaving us grappling with the unexpected unimaginable pain of this loss of life. Unfortunately, that is all that is being shared of the accident at this time due to the pending court case for the occupants and limited information available from the foreign country.
At just 21, James left us unexpectedly, creating a void that words cannot fill. James believed in the spirit of “Ohana”—family. He understood that family means no one is left behind or forgotten, and he lived his life wholeheartedly embracing those he loved. His warm smile, genuine kindness, and endless laughter lit up every room and left us with countless cherished memories. His absence is a haunting reminder of how fragile life can be, and our hearts ache for the future he will never have. Every memory of Jr. is a beautiful reminder of the joy he brought into our lives. James was the most loving and caring person. He cared so deeply for others and created so many unbreakable bonds. James is surrounded by family and friends who love him so much. He was such an outgoing friend to those who knew him. So sweet and innocent, James was one of the best people in this world. In this time of unimaginable loss, we find ourselves needing to draw closer together as a family and lean on one another more than ever.

We as the family are asking for any assistance that you’d like to share to take care of the financial obligations of getting his body returned to the United States from Nassau Bahamas and his memorial service here (Date,Time,Location TBA). If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Your love and support mean everything to us in this difficult time.
