Support James Pasley's Long Recovery Journey
Donation protected
I've created this GoFundMe to ask for support for James Pasley and his four children, Steven, Aryanna, James, and Lexi. On the morning of April 21st, James was in a devastating car accident in Portland, OR. By the grace of God, he survived the nearly fatal accident, but he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He's currently in the ICU with several traumatic injuries. He sustained a severe head injury causing blood to surround his brain. He has numerous broken ribs, which caused a punctured lung. There was an injury to his spinal cord and his aorta, the biggest blood vessel in his body. His left femur was broken, causing him to lose a significant amount of blood. He has broken bones throughout his left foot. His right kneecap was shattered, leaving a gaping wound. Within hours of being at the hospital, the doctors put him on a breathing tube and in an induced coma. He's undergone numerous surgeries just within the first couple of days, and he has many more to go.
He will be in the hospital for a long time, and I want to make sure he has a home to come back to and a way to make it wheelchair accessible since he won't be able to walk for the foreseeable future.
James has a personality larger than life and is one of the most resilient people with a sense of humor that is unmatched. His kids are his light at the end of the rainbow and he's fighting his hardest to get home to them. My nieces and nephews are already going through so much devastation, and I want to ease the load, especially on his grown children, as they are doing their best to handle everything for him till he can himself. My niece Lexi, James's oldest daughter, is handling everything and will be the beneficiary for this account. I know times are tough for everyone, so if you can't donate, please share it as much as possible. This family could really use the blessing. Thank you all for your support. And if you want to donate but don't do GoFundMe, please reach out, and I'll connect you with Lexi to donate
