Support Jamie Heitzner's Road to Recovery

Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, my cousin Jamie Heitzner, 39, had been suffering with headaches for the last several months. His headaches got so bad that he went to the emergency department on April 21st, only to be diagnosed with a tumour in his brain and was sent via ambulance to Toronto Western Hospital. He has been in the hospital at Toronto Western since and had his emergency surgery to remove the tumour on April 30th. Further testing is now underway to determine exactly what the tumour is, and what that means in terms of the future treatment plan.
This has been a whirlwind of events, and certainly not something that Jamie, his wife Rene, or their family had anticipated or prepared for. Rene has had to take time off work and has not left Jamie's side to help support him in this time, and we are not sure when Jamie will be able to return to work himself.
Jamie has always been a kind hearted, selfless individual who would lend a hand to help anyone in need, and is an incredible father to his two girls Hadley and Hallie. We want to create an environment where they will be able to focus their time and attention on family and healing, and not have to worry about finances and paying bills.
The funds raised will help offer financial relief not just for the immediate future, but to help relieve financial strain throughout this upcoming journey.
We will continue to post updates on Jamie's journey as the information becomes available.
