Support Jamie Moreland's Battle with Breast Cancer

In August of this year my Sister-In-Law Jamie Moreland was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma which accounts for about 80% of all breast cancer cases in women. Specifically, HER2-positive (HER2+) breast cancer. This is a fast-growing cancer that can quickly spread from the breast to other areas of your body. Jamie noticed a lump in her left breast over the Summer and after further tests it was confirmed that she had multiple tumors as well as affected lymph nodes. Her treatment plan is 18 weeks of chemotherapy and hormone therapy followed by a surgery to be determined. It is a long road ahead but her prognosis is positive.

Although insurance has helped tremendously with medical costs it does not cover everything that comes with treatment, loss of income, and other expenses the family incurs. Unfortunately, Jamie does not have Short Term Disability and there are just some days where work is not feasible due to the tolls of chemo.

We are raising money to help cover the cost of breast cancer treatment, medical bills, care, and more. Jamie has an amazing support group of friends, family, and colleagues that have already been so kind and caring.
