Hi, I’m Megan, and I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend Jamie — one of the most compassionate, strong, and selfless people I know. Her heart belongs to her husband, Isaias, and sadly, they’ve been separated by borders for far too long. This fundraiser is our effort to help reunite them — here in the U.S., where they truly belong.

Their journey

Jamie and Isaias met years ago and have built a relationship filled with love, patience, and unwavering faith. Despite the miles between them, their commitment to each other has never wavered. They’ve done everything they can to stay emotionally and spiritually connected — and when possible, physically as well.

Because of immigration hurdles and travel restrictions, much of their marriage has been spent apart. Jamie has made multiple trips to Mexico — including a recent one while facing her own serious health challenges — just to be with him. She’s been unable to work due to her medical condition yet continues to make these sacrifices purely out of love. It’s been nothing short of inspiring.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Jamie and Isaias are going through all the proper legal channels — working closely with immigration attorneys and submitting the required documentation — but as many know, this process is incredibly expensive and time-consuming. Legal fees, filing costs, travel expenses, and income loss have placed a heavy financial strain on Jamie, especially while she manages her health.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

Immigration attorney fees

Visa application and government filing costs

Travel and other unexpected expenses tied to the reunification process

Jamie deserves to have her husband by her side — for emotional support, for her health, and for their shared future. Isaias is ready and eager to be here, standing beside the woman he loves.
