Support Jamie's Recovery After Accident
Donation protected
Yesterday (Friday, January 17th) afternoon, Jamie was in a snowmobile accident. From what we know, he was on his friend's snowmobile when he hit ice, lost control, and tried to avoid a sign. He had his leg out, and the sign completely severed his left leg. So, they will be doing an above-knee amputation in the days coming. His right leg has a shattered kneecap and a deep gash above/on his knee. Right now, things are looking good with blood flow and a good pulse. They are watching closely because the tourniquet was on for so long, so they are watching for compartment syndrome. He also has 4 broken ribs. They did a CT scan of his head and chest, and those came back clear besides the ribs. Jamie and Baily are now in Duluth for an unknown amount of time.
Jamie and Baily are going to have a long road to recovery, and with that comes a lot of doctor's appointments, physical therapy, and much more. Any help is appreciated.
