Support Jane Ali’s battle against cancer

Meet Jane and A.J. A married couple since 1994, they share a remarkable and exceptional love story. Working together, they are partners and servant leaders helping thousands find hope and a future through the practice of love and community philanthropy. It is not in their nature to ask. Their nature is to give of themselves – their time, money, love, understanding, compassion, with the strong belief that anything is possible. Now they face a future that is frightening, uncertain, tumultuous, and exorbitantly costly.
Jane Ali is a three-time breast cancer survivor and most recently stage four. She was miraculously healed through prayers and by an awesome oncologist in Las Vegas last year. Jane is a breast cancer advocate, mom of two, grandmother, gracious friend, fierce thrill seeker, adventurer, equestrian, and ocean swimmer. After spending a year battling through chemo and days and nights of unconscionable pain, the unthinkable happened. While visiting her family in Maryland in May of 2023, a brain mass was discovered requiring immediate surgery. The breast cancer that they thought was gone for good had metastasized.
Jane’s fighting is not over. She is “forever stage four” which means she’ll require radiation in September and chemotherapy for the rest of her life. There is still a blood clot in her brain that should dissolve on its own over time – maybe months.
A.J. is Jane’s world. He is a loving husband, father, community leader, founder of L.O.V.E. Is The Answer Movement, recipient of the 2022 Joseph R. Biden Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree, and a disabled USAF Veteran. Together, they face uncertainty over Jane’s health, rapidly mounting medical bills, a new move so Jane can be near the best quality health care in the US all while A.J. continues his work teaching people how to love themselves and love others.
The average cost of treating stage four cancer in the US is a staggering $134,682. With an annual out-of-pocket maximum that resets at the new year and upcoming treatment, radiation, chemotherapy, travel costs, missed work, and more, the expenses are already overwhelming and uncertain for this couple. The goal is to ease the financial burden of battling cancer on social security and VA disability income, allowing Jane and A.J. to channel their energies where it matters most: Jane’s treatment and remission.
The Ali family thrives on giving back. It’s our hope that we can return their years of kindness by giving them hope and optimism for their continued journey. All donations will go directly to the Ali bank account to help with medical and moving related expenses.
Even if you are unable to donate at this time, please share this page with others who may be in the position to help. The family is deeply grateful for any contribution and for your continued prayers.
