Miss Janet recently received dreaded news that she has breast cancer. Coordinating appointments, further diagnostics, deciphering treatment options, and muddling through finances. It is all so overwhelming.

Mama Janet was like a second mom to me while I lived in Houston, and is one of the most selfless people I have ever had the privilege of calling family. Her love language is giving, and that shines through in her ability to be a natural and gifted caregiver. She is wise, intelligent, proud, and independent. Her family is her world, and her greatest joys come from time spent with her daughters and granddaughter. She never hesitates to rally around her people, caring so deeply that she will move mountains to make sure they're taken care of.
