Support Janet Finch's Funeral Costs

Janet Finch was one of the sweetest souls to ever walk this earth. She was married to the love of her life, Billy Finch, who she lost just over a year ago. Along with feeling a bit lost without her soulmate this past year, she dealt with bouts of RSV, pneumonia, as well as dealing with AFIB, COPD, and congestive heart failure. Sadly, her health took a turn for the worse earlier this week, resulting in her passing.

Her children and grandchildren (myself included) are currently planning her funeral and we have come to a roadblock. Janet's life insurance policy termed out, leaving the family with no money to plan a funeral. Janet, or Nanny, as most everyone knew her, deserves the most elaborate memorial service imaginable. Sadly, since there are almost no funds for a funeral, we are planning the most modest service we can for her. Anyone that has recently lost a loved one knows that even a modest service costs more than it should. If you do feel inclined to make a donation, please know that we saved every penny we could but the cost is still more than the family is able to handle at the moment.

I am Casey, her grandson, and Nanny was very special to me. My brother and I spent most of our childhood at Nanny's, as she helped raise us. We spent every summer day on the lake with her fishing, swimming, or just riding the boat up and down the lake. I will miss those times with her, but I know now that she is in a better place, reunited with my papa. Thank you for any donations made, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
