Support Jasmine in Honoring Kevin's Memory

Kevin Hayden was having a normal day yesterday, having a couple of drinks and chatting with the bartender at Voodoo Lounge on N. Rampart, here in New Orleans. He became suddenly disoriented, and lost consciousness; In the process, falling off his barstool and cracking his head open. The paramedics arrived and did everything they could to revive him, eventually speeding him to University hospital, where they were unfortunately unable to save his life. He was pronounced dead at 3:20 pm on Feb 14, 2025. Kevin had just moved into a new apartment in Holy Cross, was enjoying his work as a bartender at Latitude 29, and things were looking good.

Kevin did not have any next of kin, no real savings, and his beloved girlfriend Jasmine Poland is now responsible for his end of life arrangements. She is also a bartender, and while she is an incredibly strong and capable human being, she's gonna need some help to get this done while grieving someone she loved so deeply. We'd like to make sure that the costs for a celebration of Kevin's life are covered, whatever type of burial or cremation she chooses, hospital bills if necessary, as well as the packing and transportation of his things into temporary storage, rent and bills to his roommate to ease their stress, and some help for Jasmine so she can grieve and take care of this monumental and important task with as little stress as possible, as she's also going to be recovering from a scheduled hysterectomy on the heels of all this.
