Support Jasmine, Jayla, and Addy After Tragic Loss

Dear Community,

Jasmine, Jayla, and Addy have been faced with an unbearable loss to their family. Dj (Doug Smith), a beloved father and loving husband has passed away and become their guardian angel. Anyone who knew Dj, was blessed with a special friend. Dj would move mountains for others, bring laughter and joy to life, and simply brighten up any room he was in.

DJ exemplified strength, kindness, and resilience to be the best father and husband he could be. He poured his heart into both his daughters and his wife, always putting them before himself. DJ loved his family and made their worlds bright, filled with love, and laughter. He was the sole provider for their family and through all adversities and hardships put their family first, raising their two incredible daughters, Jayla (14), Addy (9) who were his greatest pride and joy.

Doug’s life was tragically taken on October 23, 2024. His wife, daughters and family will now face the challenge of growing up without their rock, their advocate, their best friend and their father.

Unfortunately, they weren’t left with life insurance, so without the communities support, this burden would be left to Jasmine and the kids. Your generous contributions will go directly towards Jasmine, Jayla and Addy’s efforts to continue through life with the loss of their sole provider, as well as, towards the increasingly high funeral and memorial costs. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of DJ’s family through this loss in their lives. My name is Logan, I am a close friend of Jasmine and DJ’s and I will ensure all of the funds go directly to Jasmine.
