Support for Jason and Brandon After Tragic Loss

With tears in my eyes, I share this sad post. On Halloween night, tragedy struck our family in the most shocking way. My nephews, Jason and Brandon Picado, lost both of their parents on the same night. Family and friends have encouraged me to create this page as a means to collectively help them both during this very difficult time.

It is very hard to disclose details of the tragedy, I am still in shock and in disbelief. I do know for certain that my sister and her husband of 25 years, both loved and cared for their children with all their heart. Only God can give us the strength to navigate through this difficult season that has fallen upon us.

For those of you who are willing and able to donate for my nephews, I thank you from the bottom of my broken heart. May God bless you and return your donation tenfold.

Con mi alma partida comparto lo siguiente. En la noche de Halloween, la tragedia golpeó a nuestra familia de la manera más impactante. Mis sobrinos, Jason y Brandon Picado, perdieron a sus padres la misma noche. Familiares y amigos me han animado a crear esta página como un medio para ayudarlos colectivamente durante este momento tan difícil.

Es muy difícil revelar detalles de la tragedia, todavía estoy en estado de shock y no lo puedo creer. Sé con certeza que mi hermana y su esposo de 25 años, ambos amaron y cuidaron a sus hijos con todo su corazón. Solo Dios puede darnos la fuerza para atravesar esta temporada difícil que nos ha tocado vivir.

A aquellos de ustedes que están dispuestos y pueden donar para mis sobrinos, les agradezco desde el fondo de mi corazón. Que Dios los bendiga y les devuelva su donación diez veces más.
