On Tuesday, September 10th, a heartbreaking tragedy struck the Dyer-Sainsbury household, leaving a family of four devastated and two young sons without their beloved mother. Viola Ridges Sainsbury, the cherished wife of CBS Family member Jason Dyer-Sainsbury, was taken from us far too soon. This is the story of the Dyer-Sainsbury family and the profound loss of their matriarch, Viola.

Viola succumbed to her courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind her devoted husband Jason and their two sons, Ethan and Aiden. Viola faced her illness with unwavering faith and remarkable bravery, stepping into an uncertain future with courage. As Jason shared, “My wife miraculously rebounded through numerous surgeries and illnesses, managing her roles as mother and wife with grace. Her most incredible feat was being diagnosed with cancer and carrying on with little complaint, making a small army of new friends and loved ones until the end.”

Despite a compromised immune system, Viola fought valiantly against cancer. Her strength in the face of impossible odds was matched only by her stunning candor as she approached the end of her beautiful young life. She was recognized as special and genuine by all, her soul shining brightly and feeding on the energy of those around her.

Her memory is one of love and generosity, and that is how she will be celebrated. Jason’s family mourns her loss but feels blessed and thankful for the time they had with her. We are setting up this fundraiser to help cover the expenses of her funeral arrangements and to support Jason as he navigates the future as a single father to his two young sons, Ethan and Aiden.
