Support Jason getting back on the road to recovery.

Jason, a dedicated and selfless public servant not only to animals with over 21 years as a Veterinary Technician, but also as an Emergency Medical Technician of 19 years to Marylanders. Jason truly loved what he did and took pride in helping people and animals alike. He was the recipient of many awards and accolades over the years for his service and dedication to his community. Another love in Jason's life is his Jeep Wrangler. Something he had dreamed of for more than 15 years before he was able to make that dream a reality. After that, in his free time, you could find him out on the beach or riding along a rocky backwoods trail. Jason loved being outdoors and equally loved all of the people he met along the way in the Jeep community. A quick trip to the store would often turn into making a new friend after talking Jeeps to once complete strangers he’d meet in parking lots.
This all came crashing to an end just over 3 years ago when one of Jason's patients tragically caused a life-changing spinal injury. Jason has endured multiple surgeries and procedures since but continues to struggle on a day-to-day basis. He is no longer able to walk, stand, lay, or even sit for long periods of time without pain and spasms in his back and legs. While fighting to recover from this injury, he has also been battling his employer's workers' compensation insurance to approve necessary medications, procedures, physical therapy, and doctor visits. His employer's workers' compensation company has repeatedly withheld his disability payments for as much as 10 months at a time. While his main focus should be on his physical health and recovery, he has been struggling to make ends meet from the lack of income and being forced to pay for some of his medical treatments out of pocket.
Due to the lengthy recovery and subsequent financial battle, he was no longer able to make the payments on his Jeep, and the bank was forced to take possession. Not only was his Jeep a source of joy, it was also his only means of transportation. Any contribution, big or small, to his GoFundMe campaign would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity will not only help Jason regain his vehicle but also assist him with the financial burdens he is facing during his recovery process. If a monetary donation is not possible, we ask that you please share this information to help spread the word and rally support for Jason, who has dedicated his life to helping others.
