Support Jason Taylor's Family

Donation protected
On January 1st, 2021, Paramedic Jason Taylor unexpectedly and tragically died after a short battle with COVID-19.  Jason spent his life helping others at work as a paramedic and at home with family and friends.  Jason was a skilled and professional paramedic who saved many lives and improved countless more during his tenure as a paramedic and instructor to others.  He worked in Franklin County, KS, Bonner Springs, and Edwardsville as a paramedic for the various EMS services.  Recently, he was forced to take a part-time position due to external forces which caused him to lose benefits such as health and life insurance.  We are seeking to raise money for his wife, Penny, to assist her with funeral and other expenses related to his untimely and unexpected death.  All funds received will go directly and immediately to his wife as she processes this loss.  The Edwardsville Fire Department has set up this page in an effort to ease the burden on Penny.  You can reach Deputy Chief Morrow through this website with any questions or concerns you might have.
