Support Jason’s Heart

Donation protected
Jason Bies went into the ER Sunday night, December 2nd with symptoms of a heart attack. Having sudden abdominal pain, and pain radiating through his back and chest, feeling very light headed, and sweating along with chills. Preliminary testing did rule out heart attack but further testing on CT scan showed an aortic aneurysm. He was admitted to the hospital to be monitored for an acute heart attack. Jason was discharged next day and was referred to Sanford in Fargo following up with more testing with Dr. Newman, which resulted in needing open heart surgery with replacing aortic valve and repairing aneurysm. Recovery will be 6 weeks off work along with cardiac therapy. Surgery will be done in December. This year has been exceptionally hard for the Bies family, with Jason losing his Dad and Step Dad both to heart related issues. Jason having a young family of his own, knows the seriousness of the surgery. The twins Max & Miley who both play hockey for EGF, and their oldest daughter Bailee.   Let’s rally around the Bies family in this time of need!!
Happy Holidays.
