Support Jason's Journey to Independence

Hello, my name is Jason Duckworth. 31 years ago, at the age of 17, I suffered a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed from the chest down. In that 31 years, I have accomplished a lot, but my biggest stride forward was being able to drive again. The sense of freedom and independence was and is unmatched.

Unfortunately, I had to sell my car several years ago. It was the worst thing I ever did. I felt like I took a giant step backwards and all my progress up to that point just stopped. It was like I was no longer living life but just existing.

Today, with your help, that can change. I have been gifted a truck but I need hand controls in order to drive. The truck came from my aunt who earlier this year tragically took her own life. I plan to turn this truck into a show vehicle with an emphasis on suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Please help me get back to living life again instead of just existing. This little thing will allow me to do so much and bring me the elusive independence I’ve been working towards for the last 31 years.
