Support Jas’s Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery Journey
Donation protected
We’re fundraising for Jasmine Haver and her recovery journey following a major car accident she was in on October 18th.
Following the accident, Jasmine was admitted to the Neurological Intensive Care unit at Cedars Sinai with a traumatic brain injury, an intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage of the occipital lobe, and a compression fracture in her T3 vertebra. She was experiencing cognitive deficiencies, numbness of her arms and legs, and issues with her vision and hearing.
When admitted to the Neuro ICU, her Neurologist noted her condition as “critical, with a high probability of death, secondary only to CNS (Central Nervous System) organ failure".
Now at home, Jas is continuing to recover and heal; physically, mentally, and emotionally, and is improving every day. She is making a miraculously positive physical recovery and is in the early stages of Complex Trauma therapy, addressing the mental trauma that she continues to experience daily (and nightly) since the accident.
When she wasn't performing on stage or on screen, Jas was a caregiver to an elderly woman with dementia, and a nanny to various families. While her spinal injury heals, she is unable to return to work for an indefinite amount of time, and expenses continue to accrue.
Many loved ones have inquired how to best support Jas and her family with the unplanned financial strain. Every dollar contributed will go directly to ongoing medical needs, monthly living expenses (rent, utilities), day to day expenses, and transportation costs, as her car was totaled in the collision.
Jas’s improving condition is nothing short of a miracle from her initial prognosis following the accident, and she is incredibly grateful to God, family, friends, all of those who have reached out or offered support, love and kindness to her, and to, in her words, “the angels that were with her” that night.
We are grateful for any assistance that you can contribute, whether through financial donations, warm thoughts, or prayer. Thank you!
