Support Jaylen Brooks' Recovery Journey

Meet Jaylen Brooks. He is a 17 year old senior at Galt High. Jaylen has been playing football

since he was 4 and was excited about his senior year. It was about 5 months ago that he began having headaches, headaches that persisted and resulted in numerous trips to the doctor. Then, in the beginning of September, Jaylen suffered a seizure on the football field. He listened to the doctors, and took time off. He was allowed to return to the field for practice, but the headaches returned with a vengeance. His mom took him to the ER numerous times before the cause was finally found. Jaylen had a mass on his brain. With the discovery and diagnosis came relief in the form of the “why”, but fear from the words “you need brain surgery”. It took 11 hours but Jaylen made it through surgery and is happy to be recovering at home. Help us to bless Jaylen and his family.
